OwnState is a personal task, habit, focus timer, journal, and productivity analytics app. We respect your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles information related to your use.
Your tasks, habits, focus timer sessions, projects, journals, and related productivity records are stored on your device by default. The app does not upload this personal content to developer servers for advertising, marketing, or sale.
If you explicitly enable iCloud sync in the app, supported productivity records may sync across your devices through Apple iCloud/CloudKit. iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy and iCloud terms. The developer does not separately upload this personal content to developer servers.
OwnState Pro purchases are processed by Apple's App Store payment system. We do not receive your card number, credit card number, or Apple account payment details.
To verify the 7-day trial, App Store purchases, and multi-device entitlement status, the app may send necessary purchase and device verification information to the license server, such as App Store transaction evidence, product ID, app transaction evidence, hashed device identifiers, platform, app version, authorization request time, and, when available, a hashed iCloud user identifier. This information is used only for trial eligibility, purchase verification, device management, fraud prevention, and entitlement refresh.
The current 1.0 release does not request Apple Health / HealthKit permission, does not read from Apple Health, does not write to Apple Health, and does not collect HealthKit data. Health-enhanced analytics may be introduced in a future release, with updated permission copy and privacy policy before launch.
If you contact us by email, your email address and message content are used to respond to your request, process feedback, and provide support. We do not use support emails for advertising tracking or sale.
OwnState does not include third-party advertising tracking SDKs, does not sell your personal information, and does not track your activity across apps or websites for third-party advertising purposes.
We use reasonable measures to protect the license verification service and related data. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. You should also protect your device, Apple ID, and iCloud account.
OwnState is intended for general productivity use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
We may update this policy for product, legal, or compliance reasons. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
